Technical Writing
Technical Writer
Write and edit software and hardware bulletins, specifications, customer release notes, user manuals, online help systems, and reference guides according to established standards. Candidate will work with product management, marketing, development, service and quality assurance teams to produce high-quality end-user and technical documentation. Candidate must be able to explain complex material with simple language and meaningful diagrams, maintain the customer documentation web site, and archive documents. This position is located in the Ithaca, New York office.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years related experience writing hardware and software end user documentation and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Epic Editor (or other editing software) or XML, Adobe Acrobat, RoboHelp, and Adobe Photoshop preferred. Sample documentation work is required.
